Now that we are almost officially at the end of summer, I can reflect back and accurately proclaim: This summer was INSANE!
Absolutely insanity, y’all.
It was a summer of hard work, lots and lots of washing, organizing, and storing plates upon plates, and being a part of just the most incredibly GORGEOUS styled shoots and events.
I have SO MANY photos to share with everyone from this summer – so I need you to get ready to oogle at the prettiest of photos from all the prettiest of events and styled tables (didn’t I tell you they were coming!?!).
Today I’m sharing photos from a Mexican styled shoot we did this summer at Bramble Tree Estate in Sorrento, Florida.
Sorrento is actually pretty close to my home in Winter Garden, but feels like another world entirely. Hills of green grass and the most perfect white paneled homes on this beautiful property make the best backdrop for any gorgeous ceremony or event. Tori Ubert with Victoria Ashley Weddings came up with the idea of combining this beautiful, traditional, southern backdrop with the fun, vibrant, lavish colors and traditions of Mexico and voila! a Mexican Fiesta Wedding.
I got to play a bit with color on the table and the result was so fun! I set the most perfect green goblets, mismatched vintage china dishes, and mismatched vintage gold flatware against a traditional, rustic farm table adorned with florals by Jeane Cognac designs.
The result was just MAGIC, don’t you think? Personally, I like to think it’s a party Diego Rivera & Frida Kahlo would show up to! Talk about a party I’d like to attend!
